FLASK / SCREENING TASK
UserManager
A small application covering the complete delivery cycle.
Internship screening task: user table, REST API, search, edits, validation and Docker packaging.
- Backend
- Flask / SQLite
- UI
- JavaScript / Bootstrap
- Delivery
- Docker / GitHub Actions
01 / CONTEXT
Context
Built for the Pobeda Digital internship screening stage through Netology. This is not a production client system; its scope is verifiable from UI to API.
02 / FLOW
What it does
- 01
User table
Listing with search, sorting and updates without a page reload.
- 02
REST API
Create, read, edit and delete users via Flask.
- 03
Validation
Client and server checks, 404 responses and duplicate email handling.
- 04
Checks and build
Pytest scenarios, a Dockerfile and GitHub Actions configuration.
03 / SOURCE
Source evidence
- Public CRUD API and JavaScript frontend.
- Tests covering creation, editing, removal, bad input, duplicate email and 404.
- Docker image and CI workflow with pytest and container HTTP checks.
04 / LIMITS
Scope
- SQLite and a small data model fit the exercise, not a large multi-user production system.
- The README's ~98% coverage figure and latest CI state have not been independently rerun.
- The project should not be presented as commercial production work or as an extension of the internship.
05 / VERIFICATION
Source evidence
See README, tests/test_api.py and .github/workflows/ci.yml in the public repository.
Why it belongs here
It connects earlier coursework with the internship application process and shows API, UI, testing and delivering a complete small system.
